The collection “No Name. Storia di un collezionismo a parte” (No Name. History of a separate collection) of the Genzini family was born thanks to Oreste who, in the 60’s and 70’s, began collecting works of artists who turned to his company to create catalogs.
For Oreste it was a passion that grew over time, for Marco, his son, educated daily in art, it became a necessity, a vision with which to interpret life. For Victoria and Oliver it also became a job.
No Name is a small part of the Genzini collection: many works had passed into the silence of accumulation until Marco Genzini moved them to the castle of Morsasco and there they took up their own space.
Many of the artists on display are still alive and the exhibition, starting from works of the 70s until today, offers a good cross-section of the artistic production that has flowed into Milan or that has been created here.
“No Name” offers the possibility to get to know a little-explored face of the city, and in this case it is Milan, the way a place can attract thoughts and artistic expressions.
The collection of “No Name” is always on the move: it is, in fact, constantly updated with works by new artists.
